Thanks for visiting www.atwookie.com. The blog is owned by Chris(topher) Atwood, a Texas/Louisiana resident, news junkie, cat lover and cooking fanatic.

I have semi-actively maintained a blog over the past 8 years or so, and this is the newest incarnation of my original: the personal blog. When I began job hunting in 2007, I wanted to hilight the fact I am very Web savvy, and can design/code in addition to other sundry skills. My blog’s focus then changed from personal to being a media critique / news commentary blog where I commented about advertising to the gay and lesbian community, as well as GLBTQ news which struck my fancy.

Today, however, my blog has a slightly different focus. I’ve decided to bring together a collection of items such as news, satire, information about electronics/mobile devices/software, design, and of course celebrity gossip all together in a place where I can give my views. In other words, the blog is personal, but it is done in a way that isn’t, “I did this, then I did this, and then I went here, and talked to these people …”
